Monday was the first day back from Traverse City. The best part was that Hollie and I both had the day off! I completed unpacking from our trip, but we didn't to anything else all day. It was great! We briefly went over to her parents house to give presents to her nieces and nephew. After that it was time for Fazolis and movies! It was th perfect lazy day off transition from our trip and work.
This is a few days behind, but since vacation life has been way to busy! Anyways...Sunday was outlet last day in Traverse City! :(
We spent the morning packing up and checking out of our hotel. Then we walked outside to the most beautiful day up there and spent all afternoon at the beach! The beach was great, but tiring! We decided not to stay super late and ended up getting pizza downtown! That was the end to our trip and we headed home.
Had another awesome day in TC on Saturday! We slept in after a very late night up! Once we all got around we headed downtown and got breakfast at a place called The Omelette Shop! The food was delicious! Once we finished eating we walked around for some more shopping downtown that we hadn't completed the day before! Once we were done shopping we headed back to the hotel to go swimming. We didn't stay at the pool long because last a night was our night to go out on the town! We had a few drinks before walking downtown from our hotel. The place of choice was Michigan Brewing Company. The food was so good! After dinner we headed: out to find some dessert downtown and ended up going to McDonalds for flurries! Haha. Then we all decided to heads back to the hotel for drinks and swimming...nice part was that we had the entire pool to ourselves! Anyways...that rounded out the fun for Saturday.
So Friday was a lot of fun! My girlfriend, friends, and I have been enjoying our vacation in Traverse City. The only thing slowing us down has been the weather. Yesterday we found some fun things to partake in. We drove out and visited some vineyards and then went shopping downtown. I was excited shopping because I found myself a new waboba ball! You may wonder what the heck that is...Google it to find out what it is. I will tell you that they are addictive and fun! We rounded out the day having some food at Wingers and watching the Lions preseason game, and then followed that by visiting the pool and playing with the new waboba ball!
Definitely a fun day!!!
I recently saw a small journal called the fun book at a gift shop. It was set up to where you write where you were, what you were doing, who you were with, and even add a photo. I thought this was really cool. Instead of using the fun book...I decided to start a fun blog! Here we go!
